HOW CAN I BOOK AN ESCAPE EXPERIENCE?

DO I NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE?

Reservations will guarantee that the day and time that you’re looking for are secured for your group. While our facility is open to walk-ins, availability is not guaranteed and we will always advocate for guests to schedule a reservation online or by calling us at (717) 298-1580.

ARE WE REALLY LOCKED IN THE ROOM?

Each of our escape experiences provides a means to escape prior to completing the tasks within the room. We encourage users to try their best not to abandon their teammates during their hour of need, but we understand, life happens!

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?

We strongly recommend ages 10 and up for active participation in our escape games; however, players of all ages are welcome at our facility. Children 5 and under are free and should not be counted towards your total participants when booking a room.

DO WE NEED WAIVERS?

The waiver is included as part of the online booking process. If you need additional waivers, they can be printed here .

CAN KIDS PLAY ALONE?

Players ages 13 and under must have a parent/guardian present in the room during their game. Players ages 14 – 17 can play without parent supervision as long as they have a signed waiver. 

WHEN SHOULD MY GROUP ARRIVE?

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your game, but no more than 20! We want to allow ample time for members of your group to use the facilities, get acquainted with the locks they’ll be seeing in the room, receive a briefing on their objective, and then the fun begins!

WHAT SHOULD WE BRING WITH US?

If you use reading glasses, bring them along; otherwise, all you will need is your wits! No outside resources can be used during your game, everything you need will be provided to you!

HOW LONG IS AN ESCAPE EXPERIENCE?

Each experience can last for up to 60 minutes; however, plan on arriving 15 minutes beforehand and staying an upwards of 15 minutes more after your experience has concluded, totaling about 90 minutes on our premises.

WILL I BE PLAYING WITH STRANGERS?

No, due to COVID-19, all of our escape experiences have been privatized. Once you book a room, it’s yours and yours alone!

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE ARE LATE?

These are live-action escape experiences. You must arrive on time in order to participate. We cannot wait for latecomers. Please allow ample time for traffic and parking.
**There are no refunds or exchanges for participants who arrive past their booking time.

WHAT IS YOUR PAYMENT POLICY?

Whether reserving online or over the phone, payment is due in full at the time of sign-up.

Reservations for 2 or more rooms are due no less than 7 days prior to the date of the experience. A 50% deposit will be due at the time of sign-up.

CAN INDIVIDUALS PAY SEPARATELY FOR AN EXPERIENCE?

Yes, please call our office at (717) 298-1580 prior to booking your reservation.

CAN I RESCHEDULE AN EVENT?

Groups may reschedule their escape experience no less than 24 hours prior to their booking time.
**Due to the nature of our escape events, same-day reschedules are treated as cancellations and are therefore non-transferrable or refundable.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Please contact us no less than 24 hours prior to your event to let us know that you’ll be cancelling.
**Same-day cancellations are non-refundable.

CAN I ADD OR REMOVE PEOPLE FROM MY RESERVATION?

Absolutely! You may either edit your reservation through your confirmation email, or simply call our office at (717) 298-1580. We can charge the card used at the time of sign-up, or collect additional payment the day of your experience.

CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE LARGE PARTIES OR PRIVATE EVENTS?

CAN YOU HELP ME CELEBRATE SOMETHING SPECIAL?

We have accommodated many different types of celebrations in the past, including birthdays, corporate events, bachelor/bachelorette parties, youth groups, sports teams, engagements, and many more! We do not have a party room, but please contact us to discuss any celebration accommodations at 717-298-1580 or at info@escaperoomhershey.com. 

ARE YOUR EXPERIENCES HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE?

Our building is ADA accessible. While some clues are hidden and involve crouching, there is no climbing. Most clues involve observing and making connections.

WHICH ROOM IS BEST SUITED FOR MY GROUP?

None of our escape experiences require knowledge of the theme in order to escape. The Enchanted Forest is our easiest room to escape from with a success rate of 80%! The 90’s Mystery is our newest game, so its success rate is 50%. The Western Frontier is our most difficult room to escape from with a success rate of 30%, and is only recommended for experienced players.
